Building Reliable Construction Agents

A deep-dive into our contextual reasoning engine
Construction documents are long, cross-referenced, and full of tables, specs, allowances, exclusions, and trade-specific requirements. Reliable automation needs document structure, citations, and human review — not just a large context window.
Contextual reasoning
Our contextual reasoning engine — COR — parses contracts, pay apps, and bid packages, scores relevant sections, assembles context with page references, and reasons against a specific checklist defined in natural language.
Every inference is tied to source material. When an agent flags a scope gap or missing document, the PM or contract admin can trace the conclusion back to the exact page — not a black-box summary.
Why reliability matters
On high-stakes project work, a confident wrong answer is worse than no answer at all. COR is designed to know what it knows, cite where it learned it, and escalate when evidence is insufficient.
